Nuetech Nuetech Tubliss System 19" Rear

Its not about going tubeless for the sake of eliminating tubes. Its all about the countless benefits of going TUbliss that makes every rider and racer better, faster, and more in control. TUbliss is, essentially, a high pressure rim lock and seal that secures the entire tire bead to the rim, completely eliminating the use of a conventional tube. TUbliss allows you to run a low tire pressure (as low as 10 PSI) which dramatically improves traction; especially important for Enduro and Baja racing. Since theres no conventional tube, the days of pinched tubes and flats are over! Even if you get a tire puncture, the bead stays seated to the rim. A high pressure rim lock and seal that secures the entire tire bead to the rim. Allows you to run a low tire pressure (as low as 10 PSI). Seal is formed against the inside of the tire itself so it holds the tire firmly. Works even with the most dented, dinged, or tweaked rim. Tube Specifications: Size: 19". Fits: 19" x (1.85" - 2.15") rims. The 100 PSI TUbliss inner bladder literally clamps the entire bead and side wall of the tire to the rim, providing full bead lock performance around the full circumference of the rim. The seal is formed against the inside of the tire itself, not the rim, so it holds the tire firmly and makes the sidewalls stay upright and absorb the full impact, unlike bending and deflection you get with conventional tubes. Because of the design, TUbliss will even work with the most dented, dinged, or tweaked rim. Feature Details: Improved Traction: TUbliss secures the bead so securely that it allows a low tire pressure for improved straight line traction without the risk of a pinch flat or tire bead slippage. Because TUbliss means you can much lower tire pressures, traction is improved which is especially important for Baja and Enduro riders. You have no tubes to be concerned with, so lower pressure with TUbliss means youll never pinch a tube! Replace old technology with a stronger, modern and efficient system. Even if you get a tire puncture, the bead stays seated to the rim. Virtually Flat Proof: TUbliss really is virtually flat proof when used with a tire sealant. Sealants cant work on tubes where holes in the rubber stretch and tear. With TUbliss, your sealant works directly on the tire where it matters. Plus, the design of TUbliss helps keep the tire seated on the bead and the sidewalls more stable, virtually making "flat wobbles" a thing of the past. Riders have reported riding longer and harder, completely unaware that they had a tire puncture. Weight Savings: TUbliss also provides a weight savings of up to 3 pounds per wheel which instantly translates into less rotating weight and increases acceleration. Less unsprung weight allows significant suspension performance gains. Experts say that eliminating a pound of rotating unsprung weight is equivalent to dropping 5 pounds of static weight! Runs Cooler: Without the weight and friction of a conventional tube installed, tire temperatures are greatly reduced. This also eliminates tire pressure increases during the course of a moto. Rim Protection: TUbliss protects the rim from dings and dents by holding the tire firmly and making the sidewalls stay upright and absorb the full impact, unlike bending and deflection of conventional tubes.

I'll never use tubes again

"Great for east coast hare scrambles/endures. Enables you to run low PSI for max traction. No pinched tubes to deal with and lasts through multiple tire changes. It will not seal with a bent rim though."

Great idea for smaller MX riders
August 16, 2012
"My rider is only 110 pounds, but fully grown :-). We found that lower tire pressures significantly increase traction when the surface begins to get packed. We like to run 10lb psi or less on harder-packed tracks, or later in the day at tracks that had been cut deep but the lines get back to the hard dirt beneath. With tubed tires, even the big aftermarket rimlock I was using wasn't enough to prevent rim slippage. This movement of the rim would break the valve stem and cause a flat. The Tubliss system however, provides a 360 degree rimlock that allows us to run whatever pressures we want. We've also noticed that the pressures don't have to be quite as low now as what we used before to get that extra 'bite'. We can still drop down to 10lbs or so, but we never have to deal with broken stems anymore. If the tire does go flat, it will still hold up throughout the rest of the moto, where a flatted tube tire would have eventually 'walked' off of the rim."

Works OK until it doesn't work anymore

"Maybe it was because I am an early adopter and I bought one of these as soon as they came out… the Tubliss System was significant harder to install than putting in a new tube but not too bad. I had problems with the system holding air; it leaked with a used tire but held air with a brand new tire. I rode with it several times and it worked fine. The wheel seemed lighter and traction was as good if not a bit better than before. I enjoyed months of low problem riding (the system looses more air than a normal tube but that’s an easy fix). In practice before a race I jumped an uphill triple and the rear tire blew out. You can’t change or fix these things easily at the track so I was done for the evening (it was a night race; I may have had enough time to replace it with a real tube during a day race but not at night). I emailed photos to Tubliss and called them and never heard back. The red piece shown in the piece got torn apart and was irreparable. Has the product been improved since my blowout? Maybe, I don’t know. Was the blow out my fault? Maybe, but I am a pretty good mechanic and the thing was installed correctly. Would I ever put one of these on my bike again or recommend them to a friend? Never, ever. Stick with a regular tube."

Great product
July 15, 2012
"Awesome to be able to lower air pressure riding in rocks. Very noticeable. Only thing I that is a must is that you have the smaller tire spoons for tire install. I used the regular bars and it was a lot harder to install the tire. The tube part was easy. I also noticed less air pressure build up when riding hard in the rocks. Running tubes, my tire used to get real hot and build up around 5psi"

Great Traction and Feel
December 19, 2011
"To add to what the previous reviewers posted I must say the tire, if punctured, will go flat. But it won't matter because the tubliss liner will still be inflated and the tire will stay on the rim. The greatest advantage to this system, in my opinion is the ability to run rediculously low tire pressures, have great traction, and still maintain a stiff sidewall for cornering. The tire deflects off ruts and bumps much less and has a generally more "dead" feel to it. Traction with a worn tire on slick concrete-like hardpack is fanstastic. Great product."

Buy these!
June 2, 2011
"Had a flat rear tire in the first 15 minutes of a two hour hare scramble. Rode the race with the flat...stupid I know! Bought a tubliss rear. Can now run low tire pressure without the fear of a pinch flat or torn valve stem. Have been out alot since buying, this system gives me all the confidence in the world that my rear tire is good to go. Easy install....worth every penny. Five star product."

No more flats!!!
January 31, 2011
"This is one of the best ways to eliminate getting flats. Why keep buying tubes if they are going to keep popping? This item very easy to install, and there is a step by step video on their website. It says to drill a hole, but the honda rims have have a big enough rim lock hole, you just need to reposition the inner bladder. Also it is best to have a bicycle pump that has a built in air guage because you need to measure 100psi."

Really works!
August 24, 2010
"The tubeliss really works well. But with a little patience. First it's works best with a brand new tire. The bead needs to be super clean I use a laquer thinner or alchol to clean them( even on new tires). And follows the instructions exactly. Torque the rim lock with a torque wrench not by feel! And check pressure regularly. The weight savings is not so noticable but being able to run a lower air press is great. It's a must for woods or hardpack rocky riding"
