Wiseco COMETIC TOP END GASKET KIT
State of the art gaskets is what Cometic has been doing since its inception in 1989. This comes from there dedication of constructing gaskets for the most demanding race circuits like AMA and NASCAR. Cometic meets the needs of each specific gasket by using materials to match. Even the basic top end gasket kit features different materials for each gasket. The head gasket is constructed from non-asbestos, flexible graphite that is laminated to a stainless steel core. The manifold and base gaskets are constructed from non-asbestos nitride rubber bound fiber. Cometic also includes copper gaskets where needed. Cometic designs and builds their gaskets in the USA.

"i did the top end on my 05 crf250r and got these gaskets. they sucked. i got the whole bike back together and was filling it up with coolant when i realized the head-cylinder gasket was bad and all the coolant was just coming out. will never buy again"

"Not OEM quality, not even close but I re-assembled my motor with no leaks so they work! Be careful as they are thin and will tear easy, especially if they become wet."

"The head gasket that this product comes with does not hold up to well. I had it leak coolant into my tranny. I suggest buying the oem Gaskets!! that way your are for sure going to have it hold. the OEM ones are a bit thicker which will give a better seal"

"I couldn't even use them. The rivets don't line up, and would have caused the head to not seal. I went back to OEM, never had a problem before, so I don't know why I changed."

"Great kit. Doesn't include the o-ring for the left side power valve cover. And cometic never specifies up side on their head gaskets. Honda OEM is installed with raised area on coolant passages toward cylinder head."

"THESE GASKETSSUCK. THEY DONT EVEN FIT MY KX125 AND I HAD TO CUT THEM TO FIT AND NOW THERE IS OIL LEAKING OUT OF THE HEAD GASKET AND WHEN IT IS RUNNING THERE IS EXHAUST COMING OUT SO THERE IS DEF NO COMPRESSION. DO NOT BUY!!!"

"Normally, I've always had good luck with Cometic gasket kits. But, after ordering two separate kits, both had an issue with proper fit around one of the dowels (hole not big enough). I filed it open, and it worked, but I was puzzled as to how this could happen. I might go with OEM next time."

"Purchased kit for my '09 450r. 3 piece design head gasket is held together by 2 rivets, the back rivet did NOT clear the head and jug. Very poor design. Threw it away and purchase OEM."
