Not perfection

"I installed this clutch on my CRF450R9 and it took one jump to cause the line to touch my exhaust and burn through it. Yes, it was zip tied as far away as I possibly could get it too. Ended my day fast. I then bought the stainless line and 2000 degree temperature resistant wrap from an auto store and so far so good. Has good feel, and is lighter to pull. Nice how it self adjusts too. Time will tell whether I'll keep in on or not."

"ok, in my opinion, this is the best thing since the "launch control" for those perfect starts.. its spendy, but when installed correctly [i took it to a shop] it works like a dream and its 100% consistant! i can literally pull it in with my pinky finger, first thing i tried haha."

Great but Not Perfect

"Installed on my TRX 400EX and installation was not bad. Included instruction are vague and not bike specific. 400ex comes with two extra spacers and no instructions as to were they are supposed to go. The line is very thin I would order the steal braided line with your order. My original line melted 6 miles into my first ride, the line was not long enough to not run away from the exhaust. Once this is fixed it is the best clutch one could have. Its worth the head ache of installation."

"even though the hyd. clutch works like a dream and is a must for someone with engine mods such as stiff clutch springs, one flaw is the perch setup. My first magura clutch setup I managed to bust the cast perch at the hinge pin and it ended my long weekend of riding early. :( On the other hand, fluid power is key to ease and functionability. For this reason I currently have a second unit on order for my built YZF."

"EASY INSTALL ON 07 CRF450R. HIGH QUALITY MOUNTS. CUTS LEVER PULL 50%.
I USED THIS CLUTCH WITH PRO TAPER FULL CUSHION PILLOW GRIPS AND PROTAPER BARS. THE COMBINATION STOPPED ALL THE TINGLING IN MY ARMS THAT HAVE PLAGED ME FOR MANY YEARS.
I HAVE HIT THE TRACK 3 WEEKS IN A ROW AND ALL IS GOOD. MADE THE BIKE MUCH EASIER TO RIDE IN THOSE SUPER TIGHT BERMS AND LONG DEEP SAND SWEEPERS THAT WANT TO SAP YOUR SPEED. YOU'LL NEVER GO BACK TO A REGULAR CLUTCH. MY STATS: 25 YRS. EXP. @190# IN VET EXPERT/MONEYCLASS."

"I race MX and the most important thing for me is to adjust the bike to fit my riding style. This includes suspension revalve, bars and a hydraulic clutch. This is the second bike I have had with one on and they work great. There in no cable to adjust you just periodically measure the play and add a washer if necessary to keep it in operating range. I have noticed no wear with 60+ hours and counting. Pull and feel are the same every ride with no fade and the pull is super easy and linear allowing you to let the clutch out more smoothly exiting rough turns."

"The stock clutch is harder to pull than most of it's competitors; however, put on the Magura and it pulls easier. I put it on my new 2008 KX250F and it works fine. Now I can pull clutch w/ 2 fingers."

"I can only say the fit on a 05 wr450 is poor and the pull resistance is the same as the cable. There was no advantage to having it."
